And the problems begin. I’ve primed and painted the bike to some degree of professionalism i must add. Today i had planned to do some small paint details and then the clear coat. However shortly into detailing, i dropped the frame which left two fairly deep and big chips on the downtube :( Also, the paint i used for the details turned out to be rubbish and now has left a horrible powdery paint job. Fortunately those bits are quite small. So i’ve had to delay the clear coating in order to touch up the chips. Then to make things worse after doing the touch up i put the frame down, wet paint first, onto a cloth. GRRRRR. Now it’s covered it cloth fibres. I’m gonna have to sand down the whole headtube now and repaint it. It’s been a bad day.
The only positive thing that’s happened today is that my wheels arrived, and they sure to look awesome :D
